Irene Mira Sánchez is a Spanish soprano from Granada. Her musical journey began with the piano, but her true vocation emerged at the age of fifteen when she discovered choral singing. She completed studies in piano, composition, voice, art history, and choral conducting—a comprehensive and versatile education that is reflected in the conscious approach and stylistic care of her work.
Her career spans a wide range of repertoires and contexts: she regularly performs a cappella music with Sirventes Berlin in the Noonsong series and contemporary music with the Ensemble Kromátika in Madrid. As a soloist, she has taken part in major symphonic projects, including Mozart’s Requiem in Spain and Berlin, Membra Jesu Nostri by Buxtehude for the Ballet Week in Gera, Fauré’s Requiem with the Orquesta Filarmonía de Granada, Haydn’s Stabat Mater, and Verdi’s Requiem at the Opera of Tenerife.
In addition, she has gained experience in opera, performing in productions such as Tosca with the Chorus of the Opera of Córdoba, Dido and Aeneas by Purcell, and L’elisir d’amore by Donizetti with the Chorus of the Opera of Granada. Since settling in Berlin, she has continued her career as a freelance artist, both as a soloist and ensemble singer, while also complementing her artistic work with voice teaching.
Ana Isabel Navarro is a Chilean contralto and voice teacher based in Berlin, known for the richness of her voice and her versatility in the operatic repertoire, as well as in early and contemporary music. After completing her vocal studies at the University of Chile, she performed extensively in her home country and taught at the same institution. She studied singing with Carmen Luisa Letelier Valdés and received national awards, including third place in the “Mujeres en la Música” competition. In Germany, she specialized in early music at the Berlin University of the Arts and further deepened her knowledge in physiology and voice therapy. In Berlin, she has performed in major theaters and collaborates with various ensembles, including Vocal Consort Berlin and Sirventes Berlin.
Laura Barchetti is a versatile soprano based in Berlin, active both as a soloist and as an ensemble singer. She first trained at the Istituto Musicale Pareggiato “O. Vecchi-A. Tonelli” in Modena, where she graduated with top honors, and then continued her studies at the Berlin University of the Arts, specializing in early music.
She was a member of the Coro Costanzo Porta in Cremona, with which she performed at renowned festivals such as the Ravenna Festival, Anima Mundi in Pisa, the Pomeriggi Musicali in Milan, and the Muti Italian Opera Academy under the direction of Antonio Greco, Donato Renzetti, and Riccardo Muti. As both a soloist and choral singer, she regularly collaborates with ensembles such as Sirventes Berlin in the Noonsong concert series under the direction of Stefan Schuck, the Jüdisches Choralbuch Quartett, the Rheinische Kantorei Köln, and the vocal ensemble Polylens Vokal.
Her work spans early music, contemporary music, and chamber music, including collaborations with Ensemble Ilinx-Studio, the contemporary music ensemble Unruhe, and participation in various recordings. Alongside her artistic career, she is pursuing a PhD in musicology and works as a research associate and lecturer at Heidelberg University.
